Western Lake Chubsucker
Erimyzon sucetta
Printed on persian blue o-gami paper
This freshwater fish is prevalent throughout North America, from Ontario to the Gulf of Mexico, and from southern Florida to Texas. The Chubsucker prefers, warm, still, clear water. It is currently declining in population in Ohio, Arkansas, and Missouri, due to several factors, including increased sedimentation from industry, and the introduction of invasive species. It is also currently subject to habitat destruction from coal ash spills Theses prints are numbered and signed by the artist. There are only 3 prints left in this series. Once those are gone there will be no more available. WHen we are all sold out we will take this post down.
